An independent public arts project that is part of Zawyeh Space. Every month a new local artist is invited to interpret their work on one wall, a short walk from the space.
The wall goes back to white before each new frame. Nothing from one survives into the next.
The social commons

Nasayeb are relatives. Zawyeh is the family house, used and kept up by the extended family: long-term partners with a real say over the space and what happens in it. Not renters, not guests, not artists curated in.
They give consistency — a programme that keeps going, on its own day, over time — and a small contribution per session into the purse, usually from the donations of whoever came. Zawyeh gives the space at a nominal cost, help with what they want to build next, and a say in how the purse is spent.
